Quote Title Goes Here

"Veterans already face difficulties securing stable and affordable housing, and measures like [Prop 21] ... promise to deepen veterans’ housing affordability concerns."
Ed Grimsley
Commander, American Legion, Department of California

Sickening

In the Yes on Prop 21 campaign’s ad, the man speaking to you is not even a veteran. He’s an actor trying to trick you. And it’s sickening. Just like Prop 21, it’s pretending to be something it isn’t.

California Veterans oppose prop 21 because it makes the housing crisis worse, with no plan to build affordable housing or help bring homeless vets off our streets. Stand with the men and women who actually wore our country’s uniform. Vote NO on 21.

Get The Facts

Prop 21 Hurts Renters
It has no protections for seniors, veterans or the disabled, and it has no provisions to reduce rents. Prop 21 does nothing to address the homelessness crisis among our veterans.
Prop 21 Doesn’t Offer Real Solutions
It contains no funding for affordable housing or requirements that it be built.

in construction-related careers. The state’s independent Legislative Analyst has said that policies like this initiative would likely discourage new construction.
