Nation’s Largest Spanish Language Newspaper Joins 23 Other Dailies in Opposing “Housing Freeze”

La Opinión, the nation’s largest Spanish language newspaper and the second largest newspaper in Los Angeles, today urged its readers to vote No on Proposition 21, the measure that opponents say will worsen California’s housing crisis.

“We reject Proposition 21 and call for immediate solutions,” notes the editorial.

La Opinión joins nearly every other major newspaper in the state in opposing Proposition 21. Other major newspapers opposing the measure include: The San Jose Mercury News, The San Francisco Chronicle, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Sacramento Bee, the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Daily News, Santa Rosa Press-Democrat, Modesto Bee, the Fresno Bee, and the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
