For Affordable Housing Vote No on Prop 21

We need real solutions, not the same poorly written initiative on the ballot year after year.

Quote Title Goes Here

"Proposition 21 will make it harder for Californians to access housing—making unnecessary changes to state law a year after the Legislature-approved unprecedented renter protections that have only just gone into effect."
Ray Pearl,
Executive Director, California Housing Consortium.

Deeper Hole

California is in a deep hole with the shortage of affordable housing. It's why it costs so much to live here. Prop 21 digs an even deeper hole.

Prop 21 stops new housing construction, could raise rents up to 15% and makes it harder to find a place to live. And Prop 21 hurts renters and has no protection for veterans or seniors and no plan to create the affordable housing we need.

If you're in a hole, stop digging. Vote No on 21.

Get The Facts

Prop 21 Hurts Housing
It would discourage new construction and reduce availability of affordable and middle-class housing, driving up rents for many Californians.
ZERO Plans
Prop 21 has no plan to build affordable housing, and no requirement that it be built.
15%↑ in Rent
Prop 21 allows landlords to raise rents, hurting low income Californians the most.
